Hello Sirnoname,
I have a problem that often occurs in my 3DOF XPID and that only you can give a technical answer to all of us users: I use 2 Arduino boards, an Arduino connected to a USB port, an Arduino connected to another USB port, I connect all the electrical cables correctly, I start X-Sim Extractor (X-Sim Converter starts automatically), the COM9 of the engine n ° 3 is not recognized. So in "Interface settings"> "All outputs of found interfaces", the Arduino COM8 port (Engine1 and Engine2) is visible, but the Arduino COM9 port (Engine3) is not visible.
I tried to click on "Start HW rescan" to find the COM9 port, but it does not appear, it is not read.
I tried replacing the USB cable but the COM9 still does not appear.
I've also tried replacing Arduino with a new one, but COM9 still doesn't appear.
Premise: in the "device management" section of Windows, the two COMs (COM 8 and COM9) are always visible.
When "Interface settings"> "All outputs of found interfaces", COM9 does not appear, I have to restart the computer, disconnect and reconnect the USB cables, start X-Sim Extractor, to try to solve the problem (sometimes this method works ).
How can the problem be solved so that the two COM ports are regularly read without problems?
