Hello X-Sim community,

my Nick is Ronin and i am working on a 2DOF DIY Simulator.
I am a fan of Virtual Reality and my goal is to get the Game "Mechwarror online" with the Simulator and
the VR-Headset "Oculus Rift" to run. I got experience with electrics, a little bit with mechanics but i am
total beginner at programming, so I hope to get support at this Forum.

Salve a tutti, allora mi sto accingendo a prendere il necessario, solo che mi son bloccato sulla scelta del snodo da utilizzare per il movimento del sedile, in passato avevo già costruito la postazione di guida..la scelta e' ricaduta su un 2dof e arduino..con 2 motori tergicristallo...
Al che dopo il dilemma del giunto..mi vien da pensare se sia meglio metterli posteriormente al sedile o sotto il sedile..

Hello, i'm trying stunding about DOF simulation, and i have a knowledge all the process with DC motor...Like a driverboard to controler the dc motor, and the principal board like arduino to control the driver and the driver send pulses to motors, by the way, i dont know how work with AC motor, i'll need a driver like (driver stepper motor?) and plug in arduino?

I really love the solid design and ability combine all movements, something to copy for own designs. Almost every motor works on "rolling center, so forces for movement arent too big.
Action looks really cool.

i want to make a 5 gauges dashboard. i bought 5 stepper motor BYJ48 http://www.aliexpress.com/store/product/5LOTS-28BYJ-48-5V-4-phase-Stepper-Motor-Driver-Board-ULN2003-for-Arduino-5x-Stepper-motor/1216030_1899065791.html with ULN2003 driver. i have an arduino uno and an arduino mega.
now i cant run this motors because i cant find arduino code for this stepper motor.and how can i connect these motor to x-sim?
pls guide me.

My OUTPUT 1:1 is giving me correct speed values of my car but I can't read it in arduino.

What I am I supposed to Read? I can read the G but I dont know why it doesnt read integers from 0- speed of the car. The gear variable in arduino has negative values because the led is blinking.

Mi sono procurato tutto l'hardware necessario ma ho grandissimi problemi sul setup di x-sim :oops: .

Sono Giuseppe... e da qualche mese mi sta passando per la testa di mettermi a costruire il mio simulatore... cosi, trovando questo forum molto interessante ho deciso di iscrivermi....

Le domande che ho ora sono tantissime... ma una in particolare mi sta occupando tanto tempo... immagino che sia una domanda che molti ...
