Can anyone help me to modify the coding for the Arduino UNO to a H-Bridge?

If anyone can help me, give me a link to a tutorial or something would be really appreciated. I have been trying on & off for months now to do this, when I have time. Now I have some time.

Can I use it instead of the original Arduino R3 Uno board? Or asked differently - can I use any Arduino compatible boards or should I expect any problems with the programming code? Thx!

I noticed an issue with arduino. Maybe is just my Uno but only you can say.
I was trying my optocoupler (which I recently assembled on a breadboard) and then when playing with the potentiometers I noticed that when turning it slightly and slow back and forth, the leds (that lit for test) dont do that smooth. At least for one direction.
I swaped the direction jumper wires directly on the arduino outputs and ...

Along my search, I found a USB dual motors controller who is looking good to replace dual Pololu JRK or Sabertooth + Velleman K8055 + Velleman K8056.
